Welcome to Forest Upcycling Project

The Forest Upcycling Project is a charity which collects unwanted furniture items and electrical goods in the Forest of Dean, Monmouthshire and Swindon areas. We then sell these items in our 3 stores (at a heavily discounted price), where we also employ and support disabled & vulnerable people.

We also sell books. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of all of our books goes directly to our partners in Uganda who provide support and opportunities to families and locals in need.

If like us you believe in…

  • Reusing, recycling and reducing the strain on our environment both globally and locally
  • Helping support local people in the UK and Uganda with opportunities to thrive
  • Employing disabled and vulnerable people to support their confidence and self esteem

…then get involved with The Forest Upcycling Project by donating your unwanted items, donating money to our wonderful charity, buying some amazing items from our stores or donating your time as a volunteer.

For more information about donations, check out our donation page.

“Proceeds made from the sales of furniture are used to keep the project going and to provide paid employment opportunities for people who need extra flexibility or support in the workplace. It also allows us to help vulnerable people with donations and provide volunteering opportunities on our sites.”
